Currently, there is no service by air to Perlis State. Tourist wishing to go to Perlis can travel by air from Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) to Kepala Batas,Alor Setar,Kedah.From Alor Setar,tourist can use taxi or bus to Kangar which takes about 45 minutes.Taxi fare is about RM 45.00.

There is a ferry service from Kuala Perlis to Langkawi.The fare is RM 18.00 for adult (for oneway ) and RM 12.00 for children.The journey from Kuala Perlis to Jeti Kuah, Langkawi takes 30-45 minutes.

Tourists from the south and middle,The South North Highway can take them to Perlis.Tourists from the east can travel using East-Coast Highway which runs through Grik,Perak.There is also the Malaya Trains service which connects south of peninsular Malaysia to Thailand . The stations in Perlis are Arau Railway Station and Padang Besar Railway Station.
